15 Weeks

So here is our good news that I teased you all with this morning.

           We signed our acceptance for our home this morning. It is so hard for me to say "OUR" home though because we have lost homes after this point before but after our inspection next week we will know for sure that it will be ours. If everything goes as planned we will be moving into our three bedroom, two bathroom, 1500 square foot home at the end of January. Also we are at 15 weeks now, and we are way excited to have a home for our baby. I can't wait to set up the nursery and get the dogs into their new back yard.

Christmas Time

14 Weeks!

Dear Baby, 

       It is getting closer to Christmas! Mommy and daddy are really excited for Christmas because we are going to see grandma Cardon in Wisconsin. Thank you for letting mommy feel less sick this week. It is nice to finally be able to eat. On to the second trimester we go.

Ultrasound

10 Weeks 

       Alright everyone this is what we have all been waiting for! We went to the doctor for the first time today and met Dr. Beck. He was really nice and the information they gave us was very informative. I was supposed to have an ultrasound and get my blood drawn but it got too late and they had already closed up before I could get in there. Oh darn.... I really hate needles. So I scheduled my next appointment at the same time next month but I am sure they will have me do that first. I can run but I can't hide forever.
Well here it is....drum roll please.............................................................................................................

It's gone viral!

9 Weeks!

Finally everyone knows that you are coming baby! It was so exciting to tell all of our family and friends. On mommy's birthday (Halloween) we showed the family the video. Cousin Candace almost ruined the surprise by saying half way through the video, "Why do I feel like this is going to end with you saying we're pregnant." It took everyone a minute to realize that we weren't joking. I am so glad that everyone was so excited for us. We are so excited that it has been really hard to contain our excitement.

Sick as a dog!

7 Weeks

Up until now being overly tired has been the only problem, but now the sickness has set in. I'm sure that many people have made this next statement, "Morning sickness doesn't just happen in the morning." It happens all day long! Baby you sure know how make mommy not hungry. I know that I have to eat but there is just no desire to eat which I feel is worse than if I were hungry all the time. I haven't had to quickly find a trash can yet but I sure do feel like I need to walk around with one. Enough complaining I am so excited for the up coming weeks because we get to tell everyone and we are going to the doctor. Daddy and I can't wait to meet you baby. Oh no pictures this week because you are supposed to be the size of a blueberry and mommy doesn't like blueberries. 

AHCCCS

6 Weeks

Baby even though you are only the size of a pea mommy and daddy are already so in love with you. 

This week was interesting we went to The Department of Economic Security today to apply for AHCCCS medical insurance. After waiting for three hours we were APPROVED for medical insurance. That means we get to go to the doctor. I can't wait to make my first appointment. I will probably cry when we get to hear your heart beat for the first time. We will be seeing Dr.Beck as soon as we can. 

1st Way

5 Weeks

       Alright it's official on paper that we are pregnant. Today mommy and daddy went to the 1st way pregnancy center in Phoenix to get documentation that we are officially pregnant. Wow are we silly mommy and daddy pulled in the parking lot and walked up to the door not knowing that it was the back door. We rang the door bell and we went around. The people at 1st way were so nice that when they came back to tell us what we already knew they gave us a book that talks about what happens week by week and also baby booties and a blanket. It was really fun for mommy and daddy to really enjoy the beginning. 

      Then mommy and daddy went down to Maricopa for a 4-H meeting. Of course the Parr family was there and it was so hard not to tell everyone. I can't wait until my birthday so I can tell everyone this amazing secret that we are sitting on. 

Grandma's and Grandpa's

4 Weeks 6 Days

Well I con't complain too much because I haven't been sick yet baby, but you sure do make mommy tired. Today mommy and daddy went to watch conference at Grandma Brown's house. Before conference we gave her a white box with keys just inside and a picture frame that says I love my grandma inside. She suspected before she even opened the box. Mommy's smile gave it away.

Then after the first session of conference mommy and daddy went to Grandpa Brown's house. Grandpa had no idea that we were planning on having a baby so soon so he was very surprised. Grandpa Brown has always been a joker so he though that mommy and daddy were playing with him.

Then we headed to Grandpa Cardon's house to tell him the good news. It was good to see them because it has been so long. Daddy missed his daddy do it was good to see them happy. 

Grandma Cardon will get her package in the mail and hopefully we can be on the phone with her when she opens it. I can't wait to hear her reaction as well. Today has been such a great day and I am glad that everyone is excited for us. 

Picture time!

Mommy and Daddy  took pictures together today to tell grandma and grandpa that we are excepting our first kiddo. We are so excited for this amazing experience. It's going to be an amazing roller coaster ride. Tomorrow we are going to watch general conference with Grandma and then we will go see  Grandpa Brown and Grandpa Cardon to tell them the news. We are going to send Grandma Cardon a package in the mail and be on the phone when she opens it. 

So here comes the next few months of sweet joy, and years of love.

4 Weeks 2 Days

Mommy took her second test this morning so we have a baby on the way! I will be due June 4th. It has been so hard not to tell people that we are pregnant. We have our crib already now all we need is the house to put it in.

I have created this blog for all of our future children to see everything that has happened in their life from the beginning. I hope that everyone will enjoy everything that we post on here. We will be writing as if we were talking to our children.

Mommy told daddy  that we are going to be parents. I made him pizzacookie and put the Guess What sign above in the oven with the cookie. I told him he had a special surprise in the oven. He turned around and I asked him which color he liked better holding up the blue and pink outfits.
